Photographing wildlife can be a thrilling and rewarding experience, and observing a predator in action can be particularly captivating. At Meadowbrook Park in Urbana, IL, I was lucky enough to witness a hawk feasting on a squirrel while some deer grazed in the background. The juxtaposition of the predator and prey, along with the serene setting, made for a striking image. Capturing the moment required patience and a steady hand, but the result was well worth it.
